One of the key areas of the CSDO’s Learning Continuity and Recovery Plan is the
revisiting of the assessment mechanism in the field. It further highlights the collaboration between and among teachers to design and implement performance
tasks that integrate two or more competencies within and across subject areas.

Anent to this, a capacity building titled: “Enhancement of Teachers’ Competence in
the Development of Integrative Assessment Within and/or Across Curriculum Areas” will be conducted on October 24-28 at Bayleaf Hotel.

This professional development program specifically aims to:
1. increase content knowledge on how to unpack and map interrelated competencies within and/or across curriculum areas as input in developing integrative assessment;
2. create a list of unpacked and matched curriculum standards and competencies within and/or across curriculum areas in preparation for the development of integrative assessment;
3. understand the concepts of integrative assessment, SOLO framework, designing performance-based task and portfolio assessment; and
4. design integrative performance-based task and portfolio assessment using SOLO framework consistent with curriculum requirement.

Participants are requested to bring a copy of MELCs (soft copy or printed), laptop,
