1. Relative to DO 54, s. 2012 titled, “Policy Guidelines on the Implementation of Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM)” and pursuant to the recent official statement of the Department of Education (DepEd), “in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic that education must continue for S.Y. 2020-2021 whether face-to-face or virtual, with or without physically going to school making the delivery of education services to the learners more responsive, efficient, and effective”, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas is on the planning and preparation process for the implementation of a multimodal learning delivery for school year 2020-2021.

2. Multimodal Learning Delivery (MLD) is an initiative of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) anchored on the guiding principles of ADM in providing basic education which is free and accessible, inclusive and not discriminating, and sets the participation of the stakeholders to total child development. The following are the designs and learning options of MLD in the division: i. Online Distance Learning ii. Blended Learning 1. Online/Offline Blended Learning (Digital) 2. Offline/Face-to-Face Blended Learning (Digital-Print Combination) Full Face-to-Face Learning/ Distance Learning using Print Materials

3. Hence, this Office through the Curriculum Implementation Division shall conduct series of activities for the said initiative. See Enclosure No. 1 for the schedule of activities.

4. Participation to this initiative is purely on VOLUNTARY BASIS.

5. Aside from the division website, official communication and instructions for personnel who will be involved in this initiative shall be posted in the official workplace group R4A-DSM-ONLINE PLC.
