1. In 2017, this Division launched a program through Division Memorandum dated July 4,2017 titled Brigada is Kwela Implementation, anchored on DepEd Memorandum No. 43, s. 2017 on Brigada Eskwela Plus, this Division relaunches the program dubbed as Brigada is Kwela 3600 to sustain the efforts provided by the volunteers, parents, students, teachers, LGUs, NG0s, alumni, education partners and stakeholders.
2. RATIONALE. With the aim to keep the Bayanihan aflame in the schools all yearround, this program paves the way to mainstream Brigada Eskwela by mobilizing stakeholders through various activities, generating donations by shared scouting of linkages among school community members, and improving and maintaining school facilities for the best interest of the learners all year-round.
The involvement of different stakeholders is widely visible during the weeklong Schools Maintenance Week which may be attributed to the success of Brigada Eskwela publicity campaign. Nevertheless, it is the aim of Brigada is Kwela 360 °to open the doors of the schools to give opportunities to interested volunteers to take part in the improvement of the schools through a strong campaign drive to inform them that they can give their share any time of the year.
This program mainstreams the principle that school linkages is everyone’s concern especially when it comes to generating assistance through donations.
