1. As part of the banner program of the Department of Education-Dasmariñas City to empower education leaders through its Project ELA ( Educators Learning Academy), the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas will be holding training -workshop on May 17-19, 2016 at the National College of Science and Technology (NCST).This is in order to capacitate master teachers and schools heads on basic education research and statistics; and assist them in crafting school-based action research studies as part of their Key Result Areas
(KRAs) as mandated in the Rationalization Program of the Department of Education,
2. The three-day training aims to achieve the following objectives:
a. provides avenue where instructional leaders harness research potentials,
b. raises understanding in the practice of research in addressing gaps, improving curriculum,cultivating good governance towards realization of a productive Senior High School Implementation.
c. deepens the appreciation on the significance of research as input to basic education school transformation.
d. applies appropriate statistical tool to answer research problems using the computer software Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS).
3. Participants to this activity are selected Elementary and Secondary Master Teachers and all Elementary and Secondary School Heads.
4. Participants are required to bring their own laptop, extension wire, and provision of internet connection.
5. There will be no registration fee to be collected. All expenses shall be charged against Division Research and Development Fund.
6. Attached to this memorandum are the matrices of activities, list of participant, opening and closing program.
