1.Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 035, s. 2021 titled Guidelines on Enrollment for SY 2022-2023 in the Context of Re-Introduction of the In-Person Classes, this Office hereby informs the field of the enhanced enrollment procedures and reporting mechanisms in preparation for the opening of School Year (SY) 2022-2023 on August 22, 2022.
2. These procedures shall guide parents, legal guardians, and teachers in the registration of learners in all public elementary and secondary schools and Alternative Learning System program in the division offering basic education which will commence on July 25 to August 22, 2022. Likewise, private schools are enjoined to adapt this policy based on their particular context.
3. In view of the foregoing, school administrators’ attention is hereby invited to the following provisions, stated as follows:
V. Enrollment Procedure
Enrollment for SY 2022-2023 shall primarily be administered through the following:
1) In-person enrollment. This may be done in the schools where parents and/or learners can physically process the enrollment while observing
minimum health and safety standards (i.e. wearing of facemask, temperature checks upon entry, availability of alcohols, and physical distance).
