ASEAN Digital Literacy is a regional programme by the ASEAN Foundation and Google.org which aims to combat misinformation and disinformation by providing digital literacy orientation for youth, teachers, parents, community leaders, and government officials in collaboration with local implementing partners. The programme will include a strong awareness campaign element to ensure that the importance of media and information literacy is better understood by a wider audience and inspire people to become the agent of change that can help detect and prevent hoaxes and fake news from spreading.

This Division, in collaboration with master trainers from Limitless Lab and Break the Fake Movement, will conduct an online session on digital literacy among school heads and selected teachers on September 30, 2022 (Friday) 1:00 PM via Zoom.

Participants from each school shall include the following: 1) School Head/Principal; 2) School Information Officer; 3) School ICT Coordinator; 4) School Paper Adviser; and 5) SHS Media and Information Literacy Teacher. The participants must pre-register in this form (https://bit.ly/ADLPReg) to receive the Zoom link. Concerned teachers are advised to coordinate class schedules so contact time will not be affected.

For the information and guidance of those concerned.
