Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 102, s. 2022 dated 19 April 2022, the Massive Open Online Courses for the Wash in Schools (WinS) Program under Region IV-A CALABARZON Batch 2 namely, Accelerating WinS (SDO Level) and Leading WinS (School Level), has formally opened.
The Wash in Schools -MOOCs were established to contribute to the achievement targets on WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) as indicated in DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2016 titled “Policy and Guidelines for the Comprehensive Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools (WinS) Program” through capacity development for the WinS program.
Kindly be mindful in the course registration and enrollment and take note of the following course descriptions:
Accelerating WinS – for SDO participants and,
Leading WinS – for school-level.
The target participants for Accelerating WinS must be members of the Division WinS TWG, division supervisors and/or health personnel tasked to manage the WinS program in the SDO and plays an important role in providing technical assistance to schools on WinS implementation.
For Leading WinS, the target participants must be the School Head and the School WinS Coordinator or SBM/SDRRM Coordinator. If the identified participants have already completed the previous 2021 WinS MOOC, the school head shall select/identify their respective attendees. Each school shall have two (2) representatives.
