One of the key areas of Project REVAMP (Division Reading Recovery Program) is the
establishment of reading assessment and profiling mechanisms. This key area intends
to assess learners using appropriate assessment tool to determine their reading levels,
reading difficulties and appropriate intervention and enhancement activities. This
further intends to intensify the designed school reading programs considering the
literacy domains to be developed among learners.
Anent to this, all senior high school learners shall be assessed using Gates-MacGinitie
Reading Test which is available in the CID Microsite.
Directions for interpretation, analysis, and reporting are stipulated in the attachment.
