1. Pursuant with the DepEd Order No. 72, s. 2003 titled Establishment of the Youth for Environment in Schools (YES) Organization and DepEd Order No. 93, s. 2011 titled Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities and Various Forms and Targets Pertinent to the Youth for Environment in Schools (YES) Program, this division through the Youth Formation Program-School Governance and Operations hereby announces the conduct of PAGWILIG 2022: Virtual Environmental Camp for YES-O Advisers SY 2022-2023 on October 14-15, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM via Microsoft Teams.
2. This two – day virtual training/ environmental camp aims to ensures efficient implementation of Division-wide YES-0 Program which is designed to equip the participants on the necessary knowledge and skills in crafting and implementing plans for the Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) of YES-0 in schools and review some of the YES-0 Program fundamentals. Specifically, participants shall be able to:
a. have greater awareness on the National Greening Program (NGP) of the Department of Education (DepEd);
b. develop deeper understanding on Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-0) Program;
c. gain wider appreciation on the mandated Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) and Targets Pertinent to the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-0) Program;
d. equip capabilities to perform various tasks to effectively deliver/communicate the program to the students; and
e. craft action plan that would be used in preparing an effective, applicable, relevant, replicable and sustainable YES-0 initiatives
