1. In correspondence to the Department of Education (DepED) to focus on the activities and initiatives relative to the opening of classes for SY 2022-2023, the effectivity of DepED Order No. 019, s. 2022 tilled The Department of Education Merit Selection Plan is hereby moved to January 01, 2023 to allow DepED Officials and personnel to devote their efforts in ensuring the smooth opening of classes and gradual transition to face to face learning.
2. With this, all published vacant positions prior to January 01, 2023 shall continue to be governed by the existing policies and guidelines as applicable; provided that relative appointments are issued not later than December 31, 2022.
3. Further, all Office Heads per governance level, including appointing officers, HRMPSBs, HRMOs, and all others concerned shall continue to employ the necessary measures under DepED Memorandum No. 041, s. 2022.
4. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is directed.
