1. With reference to Palarong Pambansa Memorandum PPS 2022-001 dated November 9, 2022, the Palarong Pambansa Secretariat (PPS) shall conduct the National Refresher Course for DepEd Coaches on the Return to Sports on December 18-22, 2022 at Baguio Teachers’ Camp, Baguio
2. This Refresher Course aims to orient participants on the new policies and guidelines on the return to sports; apprise them on how to shape safe and healthy playing environment; and provide updates on the current trends in sports coaching.
3. Participants are DepEd coaches, department /school heads, sports club coordinators and sports officer currently handling sports/varsity teams and/ or managing sports program. The participants must meet the following qualification/ requirements to participate to the activity:
A. Must be physically fit.
B. Equipped with the knowledge and expertise of the sports; and
C. Must be handling sports/varsity team and/or managing sports programs.

5. Only participants included in the list submitted by the regional offices shall be provided with the online registration link to be sent to their respective DepEd email addresses by the Palarong Pambansa Secretariat.
6. Respective school heads of the participants are in charge in preparing for their official Travel Order and shall ensure that substitute teacher will taKe over the class in the absence of their respective teaching personnel who will participate to the Refresher Course to prevent disruption of classes.
7. Participants are encouraged to bring their personal sports equipment/implements such as rackets, arnis sticks, among others
8. Expenses such as food and accommodation of the participants shall be charged against Physical Fitness and School Sports (PFSS) funds while their travelling expenses shall be charged against their respective school MOOE/ local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
