1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 103, s. of 2022, Republic Act No. 10661 or the “National Children’s Month Act” and in compliance to the correspondence with the City Government of Dasmarifias, this Division announces city-wide activities which require participation and presence of selected learners and student-leaders from November 14 to 18, 2022.
2. The City Council for the Protection of Children, in coordination with CSDO, will hold a Mural Painting Contest on November 14, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. at Dasmariñas II Central School. The mechanics and guidelines for registration are posted on the official Facebook page of Mayor Jenny Austria-Barzaga.
3. In addition, the culminating activity on November 18, 2022 will feature Children’s Congress and Children’s Fair at the City of Dasmariñas Arena from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants to this activity are the Supreme Pupil and Supreme Student Government Executive Officers, as well as their SPG/ SSG Teacher-Adviser. Learners joining this activity shall be excused from their classes to maximize their participation to this event. Distribution of the printed Parent’s Consent Form and NCM Shirts will be announced through the group chat of the SPG/SSG Advisers.
4. Barangay Children’s Association Presidents who are students of public and private schools are likewise excused so long as they get the necessary permission through a Parent’s Consent Form provided by their respective Barangay.
