With reference to the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 9184 Section 29. Opening of Bids, the BAC postpones all scheduled opening of bids on June 1, 2021 / Tuesday to June 7, 2021 / Monday / 9:00 am for the following procurement projects:

  • Procurement of Multipurpose Paper
  • Procurement of Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) under the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) Minimum Health Standards Component
  • Procurement of Tablet Personal Computer
  • Procurement of Network Infrastructure of DepEd City Schools Division of Dasmariñas

The postponement was to give way to the massive disinfection activity within our office facility as a measure against Covid19 spread. Furthermore, all BAC Members will be subjected to swab testing and home quarantine protocols pending release of results.

However, the BAC shall continue the sales of bid documents until June 1, 2021 / Tuesday / 9:00 am. Prospective bidders may place their payments via bank transfer or deposit only prior to the deadline of submission of the bids. A proof of bank transfer or deposit must be submitted to the Cashier Unit and the BAC for verifications.

Moreover, the BAC will only be accepting the submission of bids until June 1, 2021 / Tuesday / 9:00 am at the address indicated in the Philippine Bidding Documents. Late bids shall not be accepted.

Right after the deadline, the BAC shall issue an official list of all submitted bid proposal envelopes from prospective bidders. The BAC shall keep safe and secure all bid proposal envelopes until bid opening.

The conduct of the rescheduled opening of bids on June 7, 2021 / Monday / 9:00 am may be witnessed by all prospective bidders via face to face giving priority to one representative per bidder only. The BAC shall be recording the proceedings via Zoom.us application. A separate communication will be issued for the link.
