With the passing of Former President Benigno S. Aquino III, pursuant to Section 23.a of Republic Act 8491 titled An Act Prescribing the Code of the National Flag, Anthem, Motto, Coat-of-Arms and other Heraldic Items and Devices of the Philippines, all public schools in this Division are instructed to have their Philippine Flags flown at half-mast until the day that the coverage of official declaration of national day of mourning ends.
