1. In consonance with DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2016, otherwise known as the Omnibus Policy for Kindergarten Education, this Office announces the Administration of Pre- Early Childhood Development (ECD) Assessment on September 2-6, 2024 and Post ECD Assessment on February 24-28, 2025.
2. This activity aims to:
a. provide the teachers with the necessary knowledge, skills and guidance in the administration of the ECD Assessment checklist;
b. determine the developmental milestone of the kindergarten learners based on the assessment; and
c. plan and implement appropriate intervention for kindergarten learners at risk of developmental delays.
3. Participation to this activity shall observe DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
