On April 24, 2020, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte officially announced the extension of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON and other areas identified as high-risk in the spread of COVID-19 until May 15, 2020 as recommended by the Inter Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
Stringent quarantine measures are being imposed in such areas including our city. Hence, only essential businesses and services are allowed to operate.
To ensure continuity of work and provision of needed services to our clients, DepEd Dasma shall continue adopting telecommuting or the work from home scheme of its personnel following the extension of ECQ. The relevant provisions of previously issued memoranda on telecommuting as alternative work arrangement and deployment of personnel performing critical tasks shall remain in full force and effect until the ECQ is officially lifted.
