This refers to the attached Memorandum DM-OUPHRODF0-2020-00185 dated June 3, 2020 re: Implementation of the CyberSafe Schools Project in the Regions listed therein in collaboration with DepEd’s partner agency, Stairway Foundation Inc.
While the primary aim of the partner agency in this undertaking is to spread awareness about the importance of being safe online, it also supports the advocacy and implementation of DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 titled DepEd Child Protection Policy.
This project also takes into account the new normal in the context of COVID-19 aims to prevent online sexual exploitation and abuse of children in the country.
