1. In compliance with PCW MC No. 5, s. 2020 re: Preparation and Online Submission of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Gender and Development (GAD) Plans and Budgets, DepEd Memorandum DM-PHROD-2020-00335 re: Preparation and Submission of Gender and Development (GAD) Plans and Budgets for Fiscal Year 2021 of Field Offices and DepEd-4A-06-RM-20-465 re: Submission Of The Consolidated FY 2021 Gender And Development (GAD) Plan And Budget, the field is hereby informed of the submission of the FY 2021 School Gender and Development (GAD) plan and budget on or before 12:00 NN of October 12, 2020.

2. GPB shall be prepared by the school GAD coordinator, through consultation and approval of the school head, using the template provided at cutt.ly/GADPB2021Template. The GPB template and submission system (Download-Encode-Upload) is innovated by the Division Human Resource Development for efficient encoding based on the DepEd guidelines.

4. The gender issues/GAD mandates and corresponding GAD programs, activities, and projects (PAPs) to be included in the GPB should be within the context of the agency’s mandates. In identifying gender issues and corresponding GAD PAPs, agencies shall include those that directly respond to mandates provided in international and national laws, commitments and plans on women and gender equality.

5. The identification of gender issues and GAD PAPs shall also be informed by results of genders analysis and gender audit, particularly the application of the Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF).
