1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 36 s. 2019, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas enjoins all public elementary and secondary schools to observe the National Schools Maintenance Week, also known as Brigada Eskwela, scheduled on May 20 to 25, 2019. This year’s theme is “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan”.
2. The Division kick-off ceremony and launch of Brigada Eskwela 2019 will be held on May 20, details to be announced through a separate memorandum.
3. School heads shall take the lead in the planning and observance of Brigada Eskwela at the school level including their respective kick-off programs on May 20. Enclosed with this Memorandum are the following materials for the school heads’ reference:
a. Reminders on Brigada Eskwela Implementation
b. School Safety and Preparedness Guide
c. Stakeholder Engagement Strategy
d. Menu of School Kits
e. WASH in Schools
f. Criteria in the Selection of Best Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing School Award
4. The Division monitoring of Brigada Eskwela implementation in schools will be held on the same week. The monitoring schedule and composition of monitoring team shall be announced together with the details of the Division kick-off program.
