I. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 626, s. 2019 entitled Establishment of Career Guidance and Labor Market Information Corner in all secondary schools in CALABARZON and as one of the commitments of the Department of Education in the Advocacy Plan for 2019-2020 of the Career Guidance Advocacy Program (CGAP) between DOLE, CHED, DOST, TESDA and PRC, all public secondary schools are hereby directed to facilitate the establishment of Career Guidance and Labor Market Information Corners.
2. Career Guidance and Labor Market Information Corners shall provide the following information, including but not limited to,
• Announcement regarding Career Guidance Program
• Forms
• Employment Situation
• Economic Situation and Job Trends based on Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Public Employment
Service Office (PESO) of the Local Government Units and from World Economic Forum
• Other information related to Career Guidance and Labor Market.
3. Guidance Counselors/Teachers and Career Advocates in schools shall facilitate and assist in the establishment of the Career Guidance and Labor Market Information Corners. It shall be put in a conspicuous place inside the school premises. It is also advised that they frequently update it based on the current trends in the labor market and the need of the learners.
4. Division Youth Formation Coordinators shall monitor and provide technical assistance to the schools in the establishment of the information corners. The School Guidance Counselor /Guidance Teacher shall submit the photos of the CG and LMI corners via email to yfp@depeddasma.edu.ph. …
