1. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10533 also known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 and moving towards the realization of K to 12 Curriculum goals which aims to produce learners that are ready to be part of the workforce; there will a specialized skills training for teachers on October 24 to 28, 2016 at Dasmariñas National High School.
2. The objectives of this training are:
a. provide our teachers with the necessary skills in preparation for securing TESDA National Certificate (NC II or NC III), a certification recognized by local and international industries, and
b. train our teachers to be technically skillful, thus, would result to better teaching performance that will strengthen the foundation of our learners in skills related learning areas.
3. The specialized skills training for teachers offers the following courses:
a. Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II,
b. Cookery NC II,
c. Dressmaking NC II,
d. Housekeeping NC II,
e. Carpentry NC II,
f. Contact Center Servicing NC II, and
g. Bookkeeping NC Ill
4. Participants to this training are teachers from the Alternative Learning System (ALS), Special Education (SPED), Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP), selected Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) and Senior High School. This Memorandum stresses that all participants are required to undergo TESDA assessment after the training.
5. School heads are highly encouraged to extend any type of assistance that may be needed by the teachers.
6. There will be no registration fee for this training. However, there will be some consumables that will utilized, and there will be a FEE for TESDA assessment to be collected by private assessment centers. Hence, canteen funds and or MOOE may be utilized for this purpose subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
7. Enclosed are the list of participants, guidelines of the training, list of speakers and facilitators, matrix of the training, list of tools and materials, and the working committee.
