1. Pursuant to Republic Act 9470 otherwise known as the National Archives Act of 2007, which mandates all government agencies to have an inventory of all public records and in compliance to Regional Memorandum No. 763, s. 2024 re: Submission of Updated Inventory of Public Records, School Heads and School Registrars/ Administrative Officers/ Records Custodians of public elementary and secondary schools are hereby directed to conduct an inventory of their records.

2. Enclosed are the copies of abovementioned Regional Memorandum with DepEd Records Disposition Schedule (RDS), National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) General Circular No. 5 dated October 10, 2023 with General Records Disposition Schedule (GROS), and Records Inventory and Appraisal Form (NAP Form 1) to be used for the inventory.

3. One (1) printed signed copy in folio-sized bond paper should be submitted to the Records Unit and soft copy in Microsoft: Excel Format should be uploaded thru the link below on or before November 13, 2024:

4. Moreover, a virtual meeting will also be conducted on November 6, 2024, 10:00 am, to provide an orientation/ technical assistance to all the concerned relative to the conduct of inventory of public records. The meeting link will be sent to the DepEd email of school and Records Custodians.
