1. The Department of Education (DepEd) announces that Ramadan will be observed from February 28 to March 29, 2025. DepEd fully respects the rights of its Muslim personnel to observe fasting during this period without compromising the delivery of basic education services. To support Muslim personnel and learners who may face challenges, such as fasting throughout the day and engaging in prayers at night and dawn, particularly during the last 10 days of Ramadan, Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs) are recommended.
2. Orientation of Muslim parents and learners shall be conducted by the schools on the use of ADM during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
3. Attached herewith is DepEd Memorandum No. 020, s. 2025 for reference and its enclosure detailing the activities.
4. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
