1. In line with DepEd Memorandum No. 80, s. 2015 and relevant health policies, the City Schools Division Office of Dasmarinas, through the Health and Nutrition Unit, informs all concerned of the conduct of the first dose school-wide deworming activity scheduled to begin in July 2025. This health initiative aims to reduce the prevalence of soil-transmitted helminths (STH) and to improve the overall health and well-being of our learners.
2. All schools are directed to distribute the parent’s consent form to all learners. Schools are also highly encouraged to show the audio-visual presentation on the importance of deworming and its benefits. All accomplished consent forms must be collected before the scheduled date of deworming.
3. Enclosed to this Memorandum are the consent forms and deworming schedule, for your reference. Should there be questions or concerns, please contact the Health and Nutrition Unit at hnu@depeddasma.edu.ph.
4. Strict compliance and full cooperation are expected to ensure the success of this important health intervention.
