1. Relative to National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Memorandum No. 155, s. 2025 titled “Invitation to the Celebration of the 37th National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) CY 2025”, this Division enjoins schools to participate in this year’s observance of NDRM with the theme, “KUMIKILOS para sa Kahandaan, Kaligtasan at Katatagan”.
2. The observance aims to strengthen the continuing commitment in making headway on disaster preparedness and resilience among teachers, non-teaching personnel and most especially our learners.
3. Schools are likewise advised to spearhead activities for the whole month of July, including but not limited to, posting of localized NDRM 2025 banner (See Enclosure No. 1), conduct of mandatory unannounced drills as per DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2022 and integration of disaster risk reduction and management and climate change adaptation and mitigation (DRRM-CCAM) topics and concepts in the curriculum among others.
4. School Heads as SDRRM Chiefs shall ensure documentation of school initiatives this NDRM 2025 and may be sent through https://tinyurl.com/NDRMDasma2025.
