1. Aligned with DepEd Order 35, s. 2016, which institutionalized the Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a school-based continuing professional development strategy, and the Collaborative Expertise (CE) Day, which provides an opportunity to foster a culture of collaboration and shared expertise within and across schools, this Office announces the implementation of LAC or CE Sessions in all public elementary and secondary schools as a strategic component of the Work Application Plan (WAP) for School Year 2025-2026.

2. This initiative is being rolled out to reinforce and sustain the gains of the Division-led School-Based Training of Teachers on the Revised K to 12 Curriculum Phase 2, specifically for Grades 2, 3, 5, and 8 through school-based or cluster-based LAC.

3. The LAC/ CE Sessions will be conducted in the first quarter of the school year and to be led by school heads, master teachers, and teachers who participated in the recent training. These sessions will serve as collaborative platforms for Grades 2,3,5, and 8 teachers to unpack the revised curriculum content, deepen their understanding of grade-level competencies, refine teaching strategies, and enhance assessment practices aligned with the updated curriculum.

4. The CID Supervisors, together with the HRTD, and SMME team, will lead the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation to ensure relevance, quality, and alignment with curriculum standards. Feedback from schools will inform further technical assistance and program enhancements at the division level.

5. To support the effective implementation of these activities, allowable expenses such as supplies, printing of materials, and snacks may be charged to the school fund, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. All expenditures must be aligned with the approved LAC Plan and Work and Financial Plan of the school and properly liquidated with supporting documents.
