1. In view of the upcoming division implementation of DepEd Order No. 018, s. 2025 re: Implementing Guidelines of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), informs all public elementary and secondary schools of the Division -wide Team Monitoring of Literacy and Numeracy Activities and Interventions in Schools.

2. The objectives of this monitoring are as follows:

a. track the status and progress of literacy and numeracy activities and interventions in schools;

b. determine whether the teaching strategies, learning resources, and assessments are working as planned;

c. ensure that teachers, school heads, and stakeholders are performing their roles and responsibilities; and

d. identify and address issues and concerns on the implementation of these activities and interventions.

3. The Division monitoring and provision of technical assistance shall be done from July to August 2025. The monitoring shall focus on the implementation of literacy and numeracy activities and interventions in Key Stages 1-4, including the following:

a. administration of BOSY Assessments [i.e. Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Phil-IRI, Rapid Math Assessment (RMA)];

b. tcaching and learning process in English, Filipino, and Mathematics;

c. remediation and enhancement activities (e.g. add-on, built-in, pull-out interventions); and

d. other literacy and numeracy activities and interventions.
