1. Pursuant to the recently released Memorandum from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Proclamation No. 242 by the President of the Philippines, this Office is one with the nation in the observance of the 2025 National Teachers’ Month Celebration.
2. In partnership with the Department of Education, all Provincial Governors and Municipal Mayors are encouraged to come up with various support activities in promoting the culture of gratitude for all Filipino teachers such as:
a) National Prayer for Teachers and Ringing of Bells which will be done at exactly 10:05am on October 5;
b) Meaningful programs honoring our teachers;
c) Social media campaign featuring celebratory posts and teacher-related stories;
d) Support trainings, seminars and conferences for teachers; and
e) Encourage commercial and retail outlets to offer discounts, freebies or special promos for teachers.
