Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 255, s. 2026 titled “Accomplishment and Submission of Results of the Child Protection Committee (CPC) Functionality Assessment Tool for School Year 2025-2026“, this Division hereby directs all public and private elementary and secondary School Heads (CPC Chairpersons) to accomplish the school-based CPC Functionality Assessment Tool (Please see Enclosure) and submit the results of the tool by encoding the scores through the given link below on or before
May 15, 2026:

2. The submission of the results aims to measure the functionality and effectiveness of the programs implemented by the CPCs in schools toward the protection of the rights of the learners. This will assist the Department in developing comprehensive policies and programs to strengthen the CPCs and equip members with the tools and knowledge to handle learner rights and protection concerns appropriately. Moreover, noncompliance with this directive may constitute neglect of duty and can face administrative disciplinary action under DepEd Order No. 49, s. 2006, and applicable CSC rules and related laws and regulations.
