1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 80, s. 2015 re: Guidelines on the Implementation of the National School Deworming Day (NSDD), this Office announces the conduct of School-Based Mass Deworming Activity for School Year 2026-2027.
2. The activity aims to:
a. reduce the prevalence and intensity of soil-transmitted helminth infections among school-age learners;
b. promote the health, nutrition, and well-being of learners;
c. improve learners’ participation and readiness for learning through better health outcomes; and
d. strengthen school-community partnership in the implementation of school health programs.
3. The School-Based Mass Deworming Activity shall cover all enrolled learners who meet the eligibility criteria and whose parents or guardians have provided duly accomplished and signed Parental Consent Forms.
