1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 501, s. 2026 and aligned with the goals of the Department as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017 or the Research Management Guidelines, this Office announces the Call for Proposals under the 12th Cycle of the Basic Education Research Fund (BERF).
2. Each proponent may submit only one (1) proposal and shall not serve as lead author or co-author of any other proposal under the 12th Cycle. The following documents shall be submitted with the proposal in PDF format:
a. Research Application Form
b. Cost Estimates Approval Form
c. Declaration of Anti-Plagiarism and Absence of Conflict of Interest
d. Oath of Authenticity and Veracity of Documents (not to be notarized)
The prescribed templates are available at https://tinyurl.com/12thBERFForms. Failure to use the prescribed templates shall result in automatic disqualification from the cycle.
3. All accepted proposals in the 11th Non-BERF Cycle shall be forwarded to the Regional Office for Evaluation under the 12th BERF Cycle. Hence, it is advised that authors of the accepted proposal accomplish all the documentary requirements and submit through the link below until September 14, 2026.

4. Submission is also open to permanent teaching and non-teaching personnel of this Division.
