1. In reference to the memorandum of the Office of the Undersecretary for Governance and Operations dated August 28, 2026, the Office of the President, through the Social Secretary’s Office informs the field of the 5th National Parol-Making Competition with theme “Kabataang Pilipino: Tanglaw ng Pag-asa” (Filipino Youth: Light of Hope). Further, this Office directs all public secondary schools to submit their entries on or before October 28, 2026 at the Division Office.
2. All the contest guidelines shall be discussed through an online meeting on October 8, 2026, 10:00am via MS Teams through this link:

3. Participants in this meeting are the secondary school teachers designated by their school heads as focal persons for the competition.

5. Participation in this activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
