1. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10661, otherwise known as the National Children’s Month Act, DepEd Memorandum No. 2026-11-4030 titled “Guidelines on the National and Regional Implementation of the 34th National Children’s Month”, Regional Memorandum No. 718, s. 2026 titled “34th National Children’s Month Celebration Kick- Off Program,” and the letter request of the Office of the City Social Welfare and Development Officer dated October 6, 2026, this Office, through the School Governance and Operations Division, hereby disseminates the activities and guidelines for the observance of the 34th National Children’s Month (NCM) 2026.
2. The 34th National Children’s Month (NCM) 2026 carries the theme, “Manindigan, Tumugon at Kumalinga: Sa Batang Handa, Mas Ligtas ang Bansa.” This annual celebration highlights the importance of promoting and protecting the rights and welfare of children and fostering their meaningful participation in building safe, resilient, and child-friendly communities and learning environments.
