I. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No.144, s.2019, the Department of Education (DepEd) announces the 2020 Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge (MMC) from January to March 2020. This competition will be conducted by the Metrobank Foundation Inc. (MEP’) and the Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines (MTAP) in cooperation with the DepEd regional and schools division offices
2. The over-all objective of the competition is to ensure maximum participation in improving the quality of Mathematics Education in the Philippines. Specifically, it aims to:
a. awaken greater interest in Mathematics among elementary and junior high school learners in the country;
b. challenge them to strive for mathematical excellence; and,
c. empower mathematical talents with awards and recognitions for them to serve as models to the youth.
3. Relative to this, the City Schools Division of Dasmariflas will be holding the 2020 Metrobank-
MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge on the schedules listed below:
