1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 014, s. 2020 titled Oplan Batik Eskwela (OBE) for School Year 2020 — 2021, this office hereby informs the field that the OBE will run from May 25 to June 5, 2020.
2. The OBE aims to support the DepEd efforts to ensure that learners are properly enrolled and able to attend school on the first day of classes. It also aims to address problems, queries and other concerns commonly encountered by the public at the start of the school year.
3. In relation, a Division Oplan Balik Eskwela Information and Action Center (OBEIAC) and Public Assistance Station (PAS) Task Force shall be set up through the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) to oversee the smooth conduct of the division wide OBE and to address local concerns. Hence, all public elementary, and secondary schools shall also set up the following to serve as information desk, complaints processing, and routing area for the period of the project:
• School Oplan Balik Eskwela Action and Information Center (S- OBEIAC) and Public Assistance Station (PAS) Task Force
• Hotlines to receive calls, text messages, emails on complaints, requests and suggestions from parents, students and other concerned citizens;
• Set- up Help Desk to accommodate walk — in concerns; and
• Update / submit daily reports to the Planning Office do Ms. Melanie S. Pamienta every 11 A.M and 3 P.M
4. The (S- OBEIAC) and (PAS) Task Force shall exhaust all efforts to engage the people in the community, barangay officials and education stakeholders in preparing for the opening of the School Year.
