1. In line with DepEd Memorandum dated December 12, 2016 issued by the Office of the Undersecretary for Legal Affairs re: Titling of Existing School Sites and Donated to DepEd, this Office underscores the need of safeguarding existing schools sites from being risked to disposal, sale, lien or encumbrance, and against conveyance suits and claims for payment from private entity/individual or heirs of donors.
2. In view of the foregoing, existing school sites donated to DepEd but not yet transferred in the name of the Department of Education are hereby directed to submit in the Division Office through Engineer Renalyn Mina the following documents necessary for validation and titling procedure on January 6, 2017.
a. Copy of the Deed of Donation
b. Original copy of owner’s duplicate of TCT/ OCT
c. Copy of Approved Survey Plan
d. Certified true copy of Tax Declaration
e. Certificate of no tax delinquency f. Transfer Tax
g. BIR Clearance
h. DAR clearance (if agricultural land/camotal land)
3. However, school sites with Deed of Usufruct from the City Government of Dasmarinas are not eligible to request funds for titling.
4. The representatives from the Sites Titling Office (STO) will identify and validate donated existing school sites that will qualify for titling. After which supporting documents will be submitted to STO and request funds for titling.
5. For clarification of other details relative thereto, all concerned may contact the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) of the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas.
6. Immediate dissemination and prompt action on this matter is hereby directed.
