1. Relative to Division Memoranda No. 427, s. 2023 and No. 718, s. 2023 re the Division Rollout for Higher Order Thinking Skills Professional Learning Packages (HOTS-PLPs) for English, Mathematics, and Science Teachers for Grades 7-10, the field is hereby informed of the conduct of comprehensive Learning Action Cell (SLAC) in all public elementary and secondary schools in the division starting February 2024 until the end of School Year 2023-2024.
2. To date, DepEd still acknowledges the benefits of LAC as it underscores its importance in DepEd Order 34, s. 2022 reiterating DepEd Order 35, s. 2016. As stated, LAC shall be sustained by conducting it at least once a month on an in-person learning modality; however, it may also be done virtually when it is difficult to have in-person sessions, particularly when involving clustered schools.
3. To effectively implement the abovementioned activities, this office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division and School Governance and Operations Division, all Public Schools District Supervisors and the Human Resource Development Specialists shall be deployed to monitor the implementation of the activities.
