1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 262, s. 2024 titled Dissemination of the Resolution Crafted by the Officers and Board Members of the National Federation of Supreme Secondary Learner Government, this Division hereby reiterates the dissemination of the attached memorandum regarding the resolutions crafted by the Board members of the NFSSLG.
2. The above-mentioned resolutions are one of the ways of the Department to strengthen learner engagement and empowerment and also instill a sense of ownership and responsibility. Thus, all public elementary and secondary School Heads through the Supreme Elementary and Secondary Learner Government (SELG/ SSLG) Teacher-Advisers are expected to provide appropriate support, and technical assistance, and provide an avenue for the SELG and SSLG Officers to conduct initiatives in support of the resolutions attached to this memorandum.
3. It is also emphasized that any initiated activities related to the attached resolutions shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance with other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
