1. In consonance with the implementation of Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) in our Division, this Office highly encourages the field to institutionalize the regular conduct of rewards and recognition for school employees, both teaching and non-teaching personnel.

2. This initiative is envisioned to encourage, recognize, and reward employees, individually and in groups, for their suggestions, innovative ideas, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments, heroic deeds, exemplary behavior, extraordinary acts or services to the public interest, and other personal efforts that contribute to the efficiency, economy, and improvement in government operations, which lead to organizational productivity.

3. Enclosed in this Memorandum is a reference (working paper) for the mechanics of the rewards and recognition.

4. Widest dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
