1. Pursuant to Deped Order No. 27, s. 2013 titled Guidelines and Procedure on the Establishment or DepEd Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS) at the Regional, Division, and School Levels and Proclamation No. 224, s. 1988 titled Declaring the First Week of March of Every Year as Women’s Week, the field is hereby informed on the conduct of seminar on Reconstitution and Recalibration of GAD Focal Point System on their Roles and Functions cum Division Kick-Off Ceremony of the National Women’s Month 2023 with the theme: We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society #WEcanbeEquALL. on February 27, 2023, at 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in blended modality.
2. Participants and modality are as follows:

3. All division and school personnel are advised to wear a violet polo shirt in observance of the division kick-off ceremony and are advised to wear the same color every Friday (#PurpleFriday) in the whole month of March of this year. In addition, online participants who will not be able to attend the live streaming may watch the recorded video in their own convenience.
4. Schools shall also conduct their local celebration but must adhere to the DepEd order regarding Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith. Furthermore, school and online campaigns relative to this year’s theme are also encouraged and must adhere to Division Memorandum No. 45, s. 2021 on Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Training and Activities, thus no tarpaulin is allowed. Schools may also be guided with PCW Memorandum Circular No. 2023-01: Guide for the 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration for the different activities that may be conducted.
