It is provided in Section 19 of the Philippine Constitution that the State shall promote physical education and encourage sports programs, league competitions, and amateur sports, including training for international competitions, to foster self-discipline, teamwork, and excellence for the development of a healthy and alert citizenry. Moreover, all educational institutions shall undertake regular sports activities throughout the country in cooperation with athletic clubs and other sectors.
Anent this, there will be a 3-day dancesport clinic entitled Dasma-Indak: Division Dancesports Clinic for Coaches and Athletes on February 9-11, 2023, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at Dasmarinas North National High School.
Participants are select public elementary and secondary athletes and teacher-coaches of dancesport (1 couple Latin and 1 couple Standard). Further, provision of food shall be provided by the participants.
Teacher-coaches are reminded to bring parent’s consent of learners signifying that the athletes who will be attending the training are permitted by their parents/guardians.
Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
