1. Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 23, s. 1993 of the Civil Service Commission enjoining all government agencies to adopt a pre-retirement seminar for their respective officials and employees, and in accordance with the Republic Act No. 9994, Rule V, or the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas, through the Human Resource Unit of SGOD, shall conduct a holistic wellness and pre-retirement seminar for DepEd Senior Citizen employees and Prospective Retirees titled Project GETS (Graceful Exit Training and Services) 2023 on March 29, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at The Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias, Cavite.
2. The activity aims to:
a. equip senior citizen personnel and prospective retirees of the CSDO with additional knowledge and skills on prescribed exercise program and gynecological care;
b. enhance participant’s knowledge of financial planning to handle spending that can be useful after retirement and be aware of the many ways in which an older person may be financially exploited;
c. provide continuing opportunities for advancement by helping participants discover innovations and options that will sustain their emotional and mental wellness; and
d. cultivate emotional tools to redefine what gives life meaning after retirement, to connect something that is greater than the self, and to spiritually seek where it becomes the deepest desire of their life.
