1. Relative to Division Memorandum 174, s. 2023, Conduct of 2023 Division Schools Press Conference, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, announces the results of the contest for individual categories and of the selection for group categories.
2. The top 3 winners are not yet ranked for they need to undergo a one-week training from May 16-19, 2023 at Sta. Cruz Elementary School, 9:30 a.m-5:00 p.m. (Tuesday and Wednesday), 8:00 a.m-5:00 p.m (Thursday and Friday). Their outputs and performance will be the bases of their ranks which will be announced in a separate memorandum and of the selection to be done for the members of Collab Desktop Publishing and Online Publishing.
3. Only the RSPC qualifiers (top 1 for individual categories and the members of the group for group categories) shall attend the final week of the training from May 22 to May 26, 2023.
4. Parental consent allowing the learners to attend the training must be secured. (Please see the attached parental consent form). All participants must observe social distancing and abide by the Division’s health protocols.
5. School Heads are advised to make necessary arrangements to ensure that time-on-task will be observed in the classes handled by the teachers/school paper advisers involved. Likewise, a blended learning modality shall be implemented for the learners/campus journalists participating in the activity.
6. Transportation costs of the participants related to their attendance to this training shall be charged against local funds or school paper funds subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
