As the Philippines transition to the “new normal”, the country sustained a relatively increase of COVID-19 cases for the past months. As of April 2023, the positivity rates increased to double digits in many provinces. High positivity rates were reported in Camarines Sur (39.7%), Rizal (28.5%), Cavite (28.1%) and Laguna (21.2%). Based on the data provided by the Cavite Provincial Health Office, the following areas were identified to have the highest active Covid-19 cases:

The Province of Cavite has a total of 124 active cases, 21 of which are from the City of Dasmarinas, as of 03 May 2023.
The pandemic continues to evolve, including the emergence of subvariants, and potential surges might still occur.
