1. With the shift of the beginning of the school year from June to August in the previous years, the Department amends the schedule of the conduct of early registration for the school year 2023-2024 to incoming Kindergarten, Grades 1, 7 and 11 learners in public schools on May 10 to June 9, 2023.
2. To ensure compliance with the implementation of Basic Education Enrollment Policy, this Office announces the conduct of Division Monitoring of Early Registration on June 8-9, 2023 – Thursday and Friday.
3. The monitoring team shall be composed of the EPSs, PSDSs, and select SGOD personnel. Attached in this Memorandum is the monitoring tool and team assignment.
4. The data to be captured by the monitoring team shall be used by the SMME Section for continuous improvement in addressing education pillar on access. Accomplished monitoring tool will be submitted by each team to Mr. Wilson G. Centeno – Senior Education Program Specialist of School Management, Monitoring and Evaluation Section.
5. Widest dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
