1. Pursuant to Memorandum from Atty. Revsee A. Escobedo, Undersecretary for Child Protection Unit dated April 8, 2022, this division directs the community representative of the following Child Protection Committee (CPC) of the following schools to attend the Capacity Building Training-Workshop on Child Protection Concerns on April 26-29, 2022, SAM-12NN via Microsoft Teams.
2. At the end of this capacity building training-workshop, the participants shall be able to:
a. describe what child protection means in the context of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the State Policy;
b. review the duties and responsibilities of the Central Office, Regional Offices, Division Offices, Schools, School Personnel, and Learners;
c. identify and clarify the roles and responsibilities of the School Based Child protection Committee based on Section 10 of DepEd DO 40 s. 2012;
d. recognize the creation of the Child Protection Unit (CPU) under DepEd DO 003, s. 2021;
