he Learning Resource Management and Development (LRMD), will conduct a library fundamentals seminar at the Dasmariñas National High School Library on April 25-27, 2017. It will also include a benchmarking activity at Aklatang Panlungsod ng Dasmariñas, De La Salle University-Dasmarinas Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo, De La Salle-Health Sciences Institute RPA Medical Library, and Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite Academic Resource Center.
2. Based from the LRMD Masterplan, most school teacher-librarians have not attended trainings yet on library management nor trends in library system. Hence, the following objectives are set:
a) Enhance the knowledge and discuss the basics of library management; b) Familiarize teacher-librarians on the process of setting up a library; c) Capacitate teacher-librarians in the library management; and d) Design an action plan for school library implementation
3. All school librarians/teacher-librarians from public elementary and secondary schools are the participants of the activity. Please see attachments.
4. Attached are the program, list of materials, working committee, and matrix of the seminar workshop.
5. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
