Leveraging on the power of partnerships in generating sustained support for the programs and projects of the Department of Education, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas gathered around 400 stakeholders composed of school stakeholders, PTA and LGU representatives, and partners from the private sector in the 2018 Division Education Summit held on August 2, 2018 at St. Paul College Island Park, Dasmarinas City.

The summit focused on the theme “Sustaining Ties with Education Partners”. The guest speaker Mr. Mario A. Deriquito, current president of BDO Foundation and former DepEd undersecretary, shared an inspiring talk on public-private partnerships and collaboration in the education sector. “I believe in the power of partnerships, in convening stakeholders and mobilizing them toward collective action to address social problems. Our commitment is All for Education for All,” he said.


Dr. Manuela S. Tolentino, Schools Division Superintendent, delivered the state of the division address and shared the accomplishments of the Division with the attendees. In addition, the partners were oriented on the Senior High School Work Immersion partnership opportunities and the partner benefits of the Adopt-a-School Program (ASP) through the respective talks of Mrs. Leylanie V. Adao, Education Program Supervisor, and Ms. Anne Katherine G. Cortez, Senior Education Program Specialist. The event was capped off with a closing message from Dr. Lualhati O. Cadavedo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, and a pledge of commitment from the school and Division partners and stakeholders.
