1. In cognizance of the importance of Learning Outcomes Assessment in the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program and in the assessment of impact of the curriculum, teaching, and learning delivery practices in all the schools in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, releases the list of designated school Assessment Coordinators for School Years 2022-2025.
2. The school Assessment Coordinators, one (1) Official and one (1) Alternate in each school, shall assist each other in all learning assessment-related tasks and activities in the school level and in various related tasks and activities that may be required by the Division. The official school Assessment Coordinator shall be the primary focal person in accomplishing such tasks, while the alternate school Assessment Coordinator shall take charge if circumstances require so. Previous EQWART/EQUART Coordinators are assumed to have been redelegated as school Assessment Coordinators for the purpose of this Memorandum.
3. Specifically, the school Assessment Coordinators are expected to perform their duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
3.1 Plan and implement needs-based orientations and other capacity building activities for teachers on learning outcomes assessment;
3.2 Initiate and oversee the gathering, consolidation, and analysis of learning outcomes assessment data (e.g. diagnostic test results, quarterly assessment results, data on proficiency levels) in collaboration with school learning leaders and key teachers, and submit related reports to the Division Office;
3.3 Develop and design, if necessary, ICT-based data-gathering tools aimed at ensuring accuracy, speed, and convenience in the accomplishment of assessment reports;
3.4 Submit policy and practice recommendations related to learning assessment to the School Head and to the Division; and
3.5 Report directly to the School Head/Immediate Supervisor in the school level, and to the Division Focal Person for Learning Outcomes Assessment in the division level.
4. Enclosed to this Memorandum is the list of school Assessment Coordinators for SYs 2022-2025. This Memorandum already serves as the Special Designation Order and shall be effective for 3 years. It is understood and expected that the coordinators in the list shall serve the entire period, and any decision of replacement within this duration shall be communicated through a written request letter to the Division Office, pending the approval of such request.
5. Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum is directed.
