1. Relative to DepEd Advisory re: Accreditation & Equivalency Readiness Test (AERT) and temporary enrollment of ALS learners SY 2019 — 2020, the field is hereby informed of the following information:

a. The Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) announces that the Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) test scheduled this year for ALS program completers of SY 2019-2020 will not push through due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

b. DepEd Order 55 s. 2016 provides that takers of the A&E test can proceed to Grade 7 for elementary level passers and Grade 11 for junior high school level passers.

c. The ALS Task Force will administer the A&E Readiness Test (AERT) in lieu of the A&E Test at the latter part of the 3 rd quarter of 2020.

d. All school heads of public secondary schools are directed to accept elementary level ALS program completers who will enroll in Grade 7, and junior high school level ALS program completers who will enroll in Grade 11 on a provisional status while waiting for the result of the AERT.

e. Existing formal school enrollment templates shall be used for the temporary enrollment of the said learners. A Certificate of Program Completion duly signed by the ALS teachers shall be presented by prospective enrollees upon enrollment.

f. For Beginning of School Year (BOSY) 2020-2021, encoding in the Learner Information System (LIS) will be tagged as “temporary enrolled/provisional status” in the system. Encoding of the Learner Enrollment and Survey Form (LESF) data in the LIS EOSY module is until June
